Healthy Habits

Make a BIG difference!

Quite often when I speak with people, I’ll hear how they struggle with getting their kids or spouse or friend to go along with making some Healthy changes. It’s no easy task to switch from doing something one way for weeks, months or years, to a completely different way. We are creatures of habit and convenience so to take steps away from the bad, we must do exactly that. Start with steps!

I asked my family the question, “If you were to give advice to someone on how get healthy, what would you say?”

  • Start when you’re young. Gives less time to develop bad habits

  • Have lots of fresh fruits and veggies for kids to snack on

  • Get involved with your food. Grow, pick and/or cook healthy foods and kids will almost always eat it!

  • Educate. Watch documentaries and videos on health(nutrition, exercise, environment, etc)

  • Do activities you love to do and get exercise in without even realizing it

These simple tips can be just the kickstart you can use to spur those changes on. Just start.
